Join the Hood River Rotary Club for our annual Rotary Ski Night at Mt. Hood Meadows and enjoy an afternoon and evening on the mountain while supporting local students. A portion of the proceeds from tickets sold for the event benefits the Hood River Rotary Club Foundation, helping fund scholarships and community projects throughout Hood River County.
Your Ski Day Makes a Difference
Every dollar raised through Rotary Ski Night supports the work of the Hood River Rotary Club Foundation, including scholarships for local high school seniors pursuing college, trade school, vocational programs, and other educational opportunities.
Rotary is proud to be a 100% volunteer-driven organization. We have no paid staff, meaning the time, energy, and leadership behind this event are provided entirely by local volunteers committed to improving our community.
The Impact of Hood River Rotary
Since its founding in 1927, the Hood River Rotary Club has embraced the motto**"Service Above Self."** Through the support of community members and events like Ski Night, Rotary is able to:
- Award 12 to 15 scholarships annually to Hood River County students.
- Contribute thousands of dollars each year to community needs and charitable requests.
- Support international humanitarian efforts through the Rotary International Foundation.
- Lead and support major local projects including:
- Rotary Skate Park
- Hood River Library Renovation
- Hood River Library Garden Restoration
- Hood River Library Garden Pergola
- Providence Hood River Expansion
- Odell Fairgrounds Emergency Helipad
- Next Door Building Purchase and Renovation
- Pavilion at Children's Park
Ongoing Community Service
Rotarians also volunteer year-round through:
- Service at the FISH Food Bank
- Donating a dictionary to every 5th-grade student in Hood River County
- I-84 litter cleanup projects
- Numerous additional local service initiatives
How to Participate
Purchase your lift ticket through Mt. Hood Meadows and select the 4:00 PM ticket option when purchasing. On Rotary Night, ticket holders selecting the 4:00 PM option will be allowed lift access beginning at 3:00 PM.
Season Pass Holders
Season Pass holders are encouraged to join the fun. Your pass will be valid until 9:00 PM, and while a $20 donation to support Rotary scholarships is appreciated, it is not required.
