Why did you join Rotary?

I joined Rotary to network with other business professionals. I was also interested in the weekly speakers who are mostly local community members.

What makes you stay in Rotary?

The friendships. I was told initially that “you get out of Rotary what you put in Rotary” and it is true. I look forward to our meetings, service projects and social events. Serving as president two years ago deepened my understanding of the power of Rotary to better our community.

What is your most memorable Rotary moment?

Probably working alongside other Rotarians on a service project for The Next Door, Inc. Raises program. At Providence we were able to bring members of the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC to work alongside Rotary building tables for their greenhouses and doing a mural. Working with the people farming the property was very special.
