What do you do for a profession and with what company?

I am a (recently) retired commercial architect. My most recent employer was Ankrom Moisan Architects, headquartered in Portland OR.  I now devote my time to wind sports, fly fishing, skiing and volunteering at FISH Food Bank and Hood River Valley High School.

Why did you join Rotary?

As a newcomer to the area, I was interested in meeting people and becoming involved in the community – not simply being a resident of that community. Rotary has helped my integrate with other like-minded individuals. I have met so many great people and been able to be involved in service projects and ongoing volunteering opportunities.

What makes you stay in Rotary?

I enjoy the fellowship of my fellow club members and love the opportunity to help my community. The new Rotary friends and many service opportunities have become a major part of my life!
