Rotary community day and skate park clean up May 3
During a tremendously successful clean-up day at the Rotary Skate Park last Fall, it became obvious the Park was in need of more substantial upgrading. In line with creating more visibility of Rotary's efforts, a Community Day has been scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Our Community Day includes promotion via many resources to Hood River that Rotary is having a cook-out at the park on that day and we are inviting everyone to come out, enjoy a burger or hot dog, maybe some live music and help our club fix up the Skate Park.
I am hopeful every member of our club who is able, will attend our Community Day. Let's show this town who we are and what we are capable of.
Rotary members and the community are encouraged to rsvp to the event so we can get an idea of headcount.
